The driver's Go Online control: the green follows the thumb and only commits at the far end.

What's built

Three sides of one business, all working.

One Flutter app serves both passengers and drivers — a person picks a mode after login — and a browser dashboard runs the operation behind it.

Passenger

Book, follow, pay, rate

  • Address search and pickup/drop-off with fare estimate before booking
  • Fare bidding: offer up to 15% below the suggested price; drivers counter-offer
  • Choose bike, car or van; book for someone else with their name and number
  • Live driver tracking on the map, in-ride chat, cancel with a reason
  • Four-digit pickup OTP so the right passenger gets in the right car
  • Promo codes, ride history, driver ratings and reviews

Driver

Verified, online, earning

  • Five-step sign-up: CNIC both sides, licence both sides, selfie, vehicle
  • Prepaid wallet with top-up requests — the driver keeps every fare
  • Go Online slider, incoming request card with earning shown, accept or reject
  • Turn-by-turn pickup and drop-off with live route, OTP unlock at pickup
  • "My Area" work radius, ride queue for a second job mid-trip
  • Earnings, reviews, unpaid-fare reporting, issue reporting

Admin dashboard

Run the operation

  • Verification queue with the registered vehicle beside the licence photos
  • Approve or reject with reasons; document viewer, per-driver and bulk ZIP export
  • Wallet top-up approvals, low-balance reminders, financial overview
  • Service pricing and commission per ride type, editable without a deploy
  • Unpaid-fare cases, cancellation analytics, driver suspension and reinstatement
  • Excel exports throughout; every document download is audit-logged

Services

Colour-coded in the app, matched to the driver's vehicle.

Each service has its own screens, pricing and rules. A driver only ever sees the work their vehicle and sign-up choices qualify them for.

Ride

MoveIt Ride

Everyday trips across three tiers — MoveIt Bike, MoveIt Go / AC (any registered car serves both) and MoveIt XL vans.

Women only

MoveIt Her

Female passengers, female drivers. A driver earns Her access only when an admin confirms her gender against her CNIC — self-declaration is never enough. SOS bar on every Her ride.

Delivery

Parcels

Weight-priced deliveries offered to drivers who opted in, with the recipient's name and number for the hand-over at the far end.

Also built: Airport transfers, and children, pet and elderly rides with their own driver opt-ins and multipliers.

How the money works

No merchant account. No held funds. Commission from a prepaid wallet.

The platform never touches ride money — the passenger pays the driver directly, in cash or by mobile wallet. The platform's cut comes out of a balance the driver has already paid in. That removes payment-gateway licensing from the launch path entirely.

1
Driver tops up

Sends money to the company by JazzCash, EasyPaisa or bank, files the reference in-app. An admin approves; the wallet goes up.

2
Driver goes online

Only with the minimum balance in the wallet. An empty wallet cannot go online, and cannot be handed rides even if it was already online.

3
Passenger pays the driver

Cash or mobile wallet, chosen at booking. The driver keeps the whole fare.

4
Commission is taken when the passenger confirms arrival

Not when the driver says "paid" — so a driver can't pocket the fare and skip the step. Every wallet entry records the balance before and after, so each line proves its own arithmetic.

9%

Standard commission per completed ride, editable per service from the dashboard. Airport rides run at 8% to win them.

Rs 500

Minimum wallet balance to go online. Below it, the driver is taken offline and asked to top up.

2 hrs

Promised turnaround on a driver application — the app tells applicants they will have a decision, approved or rejected, within two hours.

0

Rupees ever held by the platform on a passenger's behalf. A non-payment report opens a case for an admin; it never moves money on its own.

Under the hood

Chosen for Pakistan, not ported to it.

appFlutter (one codebase, Android-first; iOS project present), Riverpod state, Dio networking. Package com.nexaint.moveit.
backendFastAPI (Python) on Render — Firebase-token auth on every protected route, per-IP rate limiting, health-checked deploys straight from the main branch.
databasePostgres via Supabase, 30 tables with row-level security; 29 numbered, re-runnable migrations. Driver documents in private storage, selfies in public storage.
mapsTPL Maps — the Pakistani map provider — for tiles, routing and places, with OSRM as routing fallback and Nominatim geocoding. English place names throughout. Route responses cached server-side so a busy day doesn't rack up map-API cost.
realtimeDriver GPS over a WebSocket to the backend, relayed instantly to the watching passenger and throttled into the database; ride status changes over Supabase broadcast, with polling as fallback for weak mobile data.
authFirebase Auth: phone OTP, email + password with mandatory address confirmation and password reset. Google sign-in wired but switched off pending an OAuth origin.
safetyPickup OTP; passenger confirms arrival before the driver can start; magic-byte checks on every uploaded document; suspended accounts refused at the auth layer on every endpoint.
testingIn-app QA harness (customer and driver suites) plus a backend test suite; all three ride types — regular, MoveIt Her, parcel — completed end-to-end on a physical device with commission arithmetic verified against the wallet.

What a buyer receives

Everything needed to launch under a new name

  • Full source: Flutter app, FastAPI backend, admin dashboard
  • Database schema and the complete migration set
  • Release-signed Android build (APK) and Play Store bundle (AAB)
  • Terms & Conditions text, in-app with versioned re-acceptance
  • Deployment notes: Render, Supabase, Firebase, TPL Maps configuration
  • Handover of the NEXAINT Firebase project and signing key, or guidance to re-key under the buyer's own accounts

Known gaps, stated plainly

What the next owner would finish

  • Push notifications — the backend sends them; the app doesn't yet register for them. A driver sees requests while the app is open.
  • Google sign-in is built but disabled until a web OAuth origin is configured.
  • iOS has a project and display name but has not been built or tested on a device.
  • Payments are deliberately off-platform (see the money model). Adding a gateway is a product decision, not a gap.

The backend and database are currently paused, pending the sale.
